Infertility

20150716_121610The subject of infertility is very close to my heart and I am very excited to share infertility awareness on my website.

Along with starting this blog to share our home building, designing and decorating tips and tutorials, motherhood topics and other Jones family adventures, I’ve gone a little out of my comfort zone and decided to also add blog posts that will talk about infertility. When my blog went “live” one of my very first posts was about my own infertility experience.

When deciding to have an area about infertility on my blog, I didn’t want to just share my own experiences but also wanted to add in others’ personal stories as well. You see, infertility has many faces whether it be your first time trying, second, third, etc, or even that you have conceived but the pregnancy ends in a miscarriage. I have learned so much about the complexity of conception, and I hope that the things I share here can help those who might be in the same boat.

That is also why I’ve asked some friends of mine to write their own personal experiences for me to share with you as well. During last year’s National Infertility Awareness Week I shared a blog post each night with my courageous friends’ personal infertility struggles. Our hope is that all our stories can help raise awareness of the many types of infertility and can encourage those who might be going through the same thing that

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

WE ARE HERE.

WE ARE WITH YOU.

    Seven Week Sonogram

MORE BOYS? GIRLS? ONE OF EACH? WHAT WILL THE TWINS BE??

I thought long and hard about how to reveal the twins genders…After all, we found out their genders over a month ago and I’m just now posting this! Pinterest was scoured, Google was searched […] Read more…

This EXACT time one year ago I received another upsetting phone call from my OB’s nurse repeating those awful three words I’ve heard her say to me many times before, “You’re Not Pregnant” “I’m Sorry, it didn’t work this time”. Followed by these words, “We don’t know where to go from here… We’ve tried everything that […] Read more…
