Halloween Punch Ingredients:
The ingredients for Potion Punch are pretty simple and most are items I keep in our extra refrigerator for kid drinks. You can get creative with different types of orange and pineapple juices based on what you have on hand or what your grocery store carries in stock. These are the ingredients I used to make my Halloween drink:
59 fl oz Orange juice (I used Dole Orange Mango Peach juice, but you can use regular OJ)
46 fl oz Pineapple Juice
2 qt Orange Sherbet
2 liter Lemon Lime Soda
Orange Sprinkles, optional
Orange slice for rim, optional
Vodka or Rum, optional

How to Make Orange Sherbet Halloween Drink
In a large punch bowl pour in orange juice, pineapple juice, and lemon lime soda. With an ice cream scooper, add scoops of orange sherbet to punch and gently stir until combined. Cut a small slit in an orange slice and slide the orange slice around the rim of a glass.
Next pour orange themed sprinkles in a flat bowl or plate. Spin the top of the glass around the sprinkles so they stick to the rim of glass. With a ladle, scoop the potion punch into the glass. If adding alcohol to the Halloween drink, draw vodka or rum with the jello shot syringe and add to glass. Enjoy!
Potion Punch Tips and Suggestions:
- Freeze ice cubes of orange juice to help keep the punch colder.
- Make sure all juices and lemon lime soda are chilled beforehand.
- If adding alcohol, have a separate area with syringes to draw vodka or rum and add to adult drinks.
- Add dry ice to punch for added spooky effect.
Alcoholic Halloween Punch Recipe
My favorite kid drink recipes are the ones that can easily be turned into adult cocktails! And by using the jello shot syringes to add the alcohol, you can get 2 for 1. This also helps to not have confusion with a separate “adult drink” vs “kid drink”.
In a separate area, you can can keep the alcohol of choice (regular vodka, vanilla vodka, and rum would all be good with potion punch) and a bowl that holds the syringes. Guests can add the alcohol filled syringes to their individual Halloween punch and add more syringes as the night goes on!
