How to Decorate Your Fall Bedroom (In Non-Traditional Color Palettes)

Fall is one of my favorite seasons to decorate! But it doesn’t always have to be in the traditional shades of oranges and yellows. This year I’ve decorated my guest bedroom for Fall with non-traditional color palettes to show how any color choices can be used for Fall decorating! I chose deep navy blues paired with soft blush pink and cozy rose gold and whites for our modern + elegant Fall bedroom decor.

Thanks for joining us on our Fall Decor Blog Hop and welcome to those who have just come from Kelly with  City Girl Meets Farm Boy post! Such a beautiful Fall tablescape! I’m so excited to share with you my Fall home decor this year and get inspired by other’s Fall decorating as well.

Non Traditional Color Palettes For Fall Decorating

I actually didn’t like to decorate for Fall until recently. The reason? I always thought that I had to decorate with the traditional Fall colors which never went with the color scheme and decor in my home (or colors that I really liked!)

For some crazy reason, it never dawned on me that I could choose any color I wanted to decorate for Fall! I could use my favorite color combination of pinks and navy, and my Fall decor could have a modern + elegant look that matches my decor style. Pretty much any colors you already have in your home you can use for Fall. Or any seasonal decorating for that matter! All it takes is having a few Fall staple pieces and maybe a little spray paint 😉

Today I’m going to share with you my guest bedroom decorated for Fall – with a non-traditional color palette. I use pumpkins, throw blankets and pillows to give my guest bedroom a cozy Fall look in colors that match the current decor and style of the room. Soft shades of blush pink, rose golds, navy and whites give a romantic and elegant feel, perfect for Fall guest bedroom decor.

I’ve been working on a little decorating refresh for our guest bedroom lately! My parents are coming to visit soon, so I thought it would be a fun room to decorate for Fall. I wanted to add a few Fall pieces that still felt cohesive with the design of the room.

Cue the navy and soft pinks! One easy way to decorate for Fall is finding seasonal pillows that match your room’s color scheme. The navy pumpkin pillow and light pink pumpkin pillow go perfectly with the decor in the room, and also bring a touch of Fall.

Finding pumpkins with colors and textures that fit your current decor is another way to add unique colors for Fall. You can also use blankets and throws that you already have for layering and a simple and subtle seasonal touch.

Using colors you already have in your home will can make your Fall decor flow more easily.
